Mission San Antonio De Padua is way off the beaten path, no less than half an hour from US 101, but on the original Camino Real. It is a large mission complex, recently repaired at great expense, with a small congregation and a few visitors. If you take time to leave 101 for the Jolon Valley, this stop will reward you for your patience.
