One morning in 2011, a couple of Lakeville old-timers decided to arrive for their usual Wednesday 8:00 AM farmers' coffee at the Tin Shack in a different mode than battered farm pickups. Fred and Lee flew their matching Citabria aerobatics light planes no more than five minutes from their respective home fields, and after a quick circle scanning for sheep or farm equipment, landed in the pasture accross Lakeville Highway.
I was lucky enough to receive advanced notice to record the first, and perhaps last, flights into "Lakeville International Airport".
